The Nichols Community Center is the perfect setting for

a large multipurpose room, lighted stage,

picnic shelter - gazebo and baseball field, in a lush, wooded setting on
Fox Island, Washington.
As you take the scenic drive from Tacoma, winding through
the forests of the Gig Harbor Peninsula and Fox Island, you'll agree the Center will make
a perfect setting for your outdoor wedding, private party, wedding
reception, or other catered event.
Take in the Pacific Northwest marine views from the deck and gazebo next to
the playground. The gazebo makes a perfect setting for your outdoor
wedding or wedding reception!
Kids will love playing on the swings, climbing towers and
sandbox in the playground area, while parents relax on the park benches
and enjoy the flowers.
The Nichols Community Center, which was built in 1934 and
originally used as the Fox Island School listed on the National
Register of Historical Places.
The Center was named in honor of longtime Fox Island resident Frederic Herbert
Nichols, Colonel TC USAR Retired, in 1981.

(Coffee, snacks, parties and receptions) NOTE: Since the Center
is a public place, members of the public may be using the outdoor space
at the Center during your event. However, paid renters have
priority over use of the outdoor facilities, such as the gazebo, fire
pit, and grounds. If you are planning on using the outdoor
facilities please let the rental coordinator know when you schedule your
rental.
** To qualify for the Fox Island resident rates, you must
be a paid member of FICRA.
