Welcome Packets
Available by request for new residents of Fox Island. (Also, if you represent an island
organization or business, you are invited to put informational brochures, flyers, or
business cards in the Welcome Packet.)

Fox Island has launched its own community website, www.foxisland.net. This effort has been spearheaded
by John Ohlson and is sponsored by FICRA. John has donated his expertise and many, many
hours to construct a fantastic website that is attractive, user friendly and practical. In
addition to creating the website, John has graciously volunteered to coordinate and
maintain the site. You’ll want to visit www.foxisland.net on a regular basis for
up-to-date island information and links to other great websites. |

Fox Island Community & Recreation Association (FICRA)
Dues and Membership Information
Annual FICRA dues of $25 per household are currently being collected. If you
haven’t done so already, please mail a check to FICRA, P.O. BOX 25, Fox Island, WA
98333 or pay at the FICRA booth at the fair on August 14th. Reminder: If you live on Fox
Island you’re a member of FICRA whether or not you pay annual dues. However, here are
some important reasons to be a dues-paying member.
By paying annual dues:
¨ You receive the 2002 Fox Island directory, which you can pick up at the FICRA
fair in August.
¨ You are a voting member of FICRA with real input on island issues.
¨ You enable FICRA to maintain the Nichols Community Center, sponsor
community projects and holiday celebrations, finance the scholarship fund, publish the
FLASH, pay insurance costs, etc.
FICRA appreciates those who pay dues and encourages every family on Fox Island
to do so!
